Hyderabad: Congress MP from Malkajgiri A Revanth Reddy today said the absence of former Union minister and senior party leader S. Jaipal Reddy was an irreparable loss to the country.
Paying floral tributes to a portrait of the veteran Congress leader on the occasion of his birth anniversary here, Revanth Reddy said Jaipal Reddy had played a pivotal role in the formation of separate Telangana State. He also stressed the need for a leader like Jaipal Reddy in the State. He said the departed leader led a humble life, irrespective of the fact whether he was in power or not. He appealed to the people, who want to get into politics, to read the life history of Jaipal Reddy before their entry into politics. He said Jaipal Reddy was adjudged as the best parliamentarian from south India.
