Janhvi Kapoor recently disclosed her profound spiritual bond with the revered temple of Tirupati Balaji. In a recent conversation, the actor shared that she has already made three visits to Tirupati this year and intends to go again on her late mother, Sridevi’s, birthday. Janhvi also expressed how her religion has become a source of solace for her in recent years.
Speaking to Curly Tales, she expressed, “In the past 5-6 years, I have become very spiritually inclined. I find refuge in my religion and my spirituality, and Lord Balaji specifically. When the inner calling beckons me, urging me to visit Tirupati, climb the stairs, and behold the sacred sight of the deity, I heed it. I have already visited Tirupati three times this year, and I plan to go again on mom’s birthday.”
Janhvi’s devotees gained insight into the extent of her devotion to Tirupati Balaji when her friend and social media influencer, Orry, shared a video of her climbing a portion of the temple’s stairs on her knees. She made this visit to the temple on her birthday in March, accompanied by Orry and her rumored boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya.

In the video, Janhvi can be heard saying, “Everyone needs to climb Tirupati because it humbles you,” while advising Orry to take one step at a time. Orry remarked, “It is her (Janhvi’s) 50th trip to Tirupati, Shikhar’s ninth and my first trip. I am a virgin here.”
On the professional front, Janhvi’s latest film “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi” is currently screening in theaters and has maintained a steady hold at the box office, grossing Rs 16.85 crore within three days of its release. Her upcoming projects include “Ulajh” and the Telugu film “Devara: Part 1.”
