With an investment of Rs 126.2 crore, Nicomac Taikisha Cleanrooms will build its third manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. On Tuesday, the announcement was made in the presence of IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao.
Taikisha, a 110-year-old Japanese engineering firm, has acquired Nicomac Cleanrooms.
Taikisha is a pioneer in the establishment of cleanrooms as well as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for electronic devices, lithium-ion battery manufacturing, the food industry, and hydroponic farming. It designs and builds cleanroom facilities for pharmaceutical and vaccine manufacturing in sterile industries.
Cleanrooms from the company are installed in major pharmaceutical industries in India and around the world. Currently, the company operates two manufacturing units at IDA Bollaram in Hyderabad.
It plans to open a third manufacturing facility to expand cleanroom production and begin producing HVAC systems using Japanese technology.
The company intends to invest Rs 126.22 crore for this purpose. The new manufacturing facility’s output will be aimed at the Indian, Japanese, and Asian markets.
Nicomac Taikisha will also look into the possibility of establishing a major manufacturing base for their entire product line in Telangana to meet both domestic and export demand.

Daifuku to invest 450 crore
Industries Minister KT Rama Rao welcomed Daifuku Company Limited’s Rs.450 crore investment in Telangana and urged the state’s industrialists to think big and create world-class products.
The Government of Telangana has entered into an agreement with Daifuku Company, a provider of automated material handling technology and solutions. In Telangana, the company is establishing a new manufacturing facility.
The new factory, with a footprint of more than 200,000 square feet, will augment the company’s current 60,000-square-foot facility in Pashamylaram.
The new facility, which is likely to be built in Chandanvelly, is expected to cost Rs.200 crore in the first phase, with Daifuku hoping to open it within the next 18 months.
