Municipal and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said that broadband internet connections will be given to the households on completion of the T Fiber project and to set up IT companies in second-grade cities and towns. This program is as part of delivering technology to common people, the minister said after inaugurating a Rs 25 cr new RTC building in Khammam town.
He said that Telangana is fast developing as Khammam city is witnessing rapid growth. He promised to give two more integrated markets and modern cemeteries and other facilities to Khammam.

Along with ministers V Prashant Reddy, Dr. P Ajay Kumar and other leaders KT Rama Rao exhorted the leaders and ministers to follow suit of Khammam to develop further.
Our leaders at the local level should learn to follow the programs being implemented in Khammam he said and promised to give adequate funds for growth and welfare.
KT Rama Rao stated that the TRS leaders and ministers should follow the example of Khammam town and conduct such programs in their locations as part of development. Despite the slump and lockdown causing the financial deficit, the welfare programs did not stop in our state.
Telangana is witnessing double growth in the IT sector compared to the national level and Telangana is in the forefront to spread IT to second-grade cities and towns. This will help us offer jobs and employment to local talent, educated and others the minister vowed.
Our state is for providing jobs and employment through IT, Industries, ITES, and other sectors he said.
KTR criticized that the Centre was ignoring to keep bifurcation promises despite repeated pleas from the state. The minister asked the Centre to avoid partisan attitude towards the youngest state.

The center denied us Coach Factory in Kazipet, Steel factory for Bayyaram, and ITIR besides denying funds for development. The state did not get its due projects despite repeated pleas he deplored.
He accused the Centre of ignoring to implement the bifurcation act for selfish ends he said and added that ITIR, coach, steel factories were denied by the Centre. Despite lack of support from the Centre Telangana witnesses rapid growth he said adding that credit to chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

KTR inaugurated Rs 60 cr worth double bedroom houses complex in Tekulapally, and laid the foundation for Rs 30 cr worth IT Hub second phase of works in Khammam. He also attended some other development programs with ministers. KT Rama Rao vowed to develop the RTC in the state to get benefits.
