Judges, advocates told to solve cases of litigant public early

Hyderabad: Supreme Court judge Justice NV Ramana on Sunday called upon judges and advocates to solve the cases dealt by them at the earliest and provide the much needed relief to the litigant public, who come to court to find a solution to their problems.

He was addressing the gathering here after inaugurating the newly built Secunderabad city civil court complex built at a cost of Rs 12 crore.  The other Supreme Court judges Justice Lavu Nageswara Rao and Justice R. Subash Reddy also took part in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Justice Ramana also asked the both the officers of the court to adopt the work culture and strive collectively to solve the problems faced by the people. Noting that the advocates have the responsibility of protecting the image of judiciary in the eyes of the people of the State, he said there was a need to protect that image. He also asked young lawyers to respect senior lawyers and judges.

Justice L. Nageswara Rao  said the judges and  advocates should rededicate themselves to the judiciary. He also asked them to be continuous students to learn new things that take place in the judiciary. Justice R. Subash Reddy said the new complex should become a platform to solve the public problems.
