Hyderabad : Agriculture Minister S. Niranjan Reddy today said the Kalyana Laxmi scheme of the Telangana government proved as a boon to all the poor families in the State.
Speaking at a program held at Panagal mandal for distribution of Kalyana Laxmi cheques, the minister said it was the responsibility of all the party leaders to ensure that the fruits of various welfare programs of the State government reached the beneficiaries. He made it clear that the State government was going ahead with the sole objective of achieving golden Telangana State. He said they would irrigate 40 lakh acres with the first phase of the Kaleswaram lift irrigation project.
Local MLA B. Harshavardhan Reddy, Special representative of the State government in Delhi Manda Jagannatham, ZP chairman Loknath Reddy and others took part in the event.(NSS)
