Hyderabad: Chief Minister KCR today paid floral tributes to poet Kaloji Narayan Rao. At the Assembly hall, the chief Minister has placed flowers on the picture of Narayan Rao to mark his birth anniversary.
K Chandrasekhar Rao has recalled his contribution to both Telangana statehood, language and culture.
Kaloji vouched for the statehood and for the poor through his literature the Chief Minister KCR said. He lived for the cause of people and write poetry on welfare and the language of Telangana.
Also, minister KTR, Harish Rao, and V Srinivas Goud greeted people on the occasion of Kaloji Narayan Rao’s birth anniversary celebrations. KTR has said in Twitter that Kaloji Narayan Rao has sacrificed his life for the state and its people. His works focussed on the Telangana language, its slang, and statehood he said.
KTR said that the poet contributed his best for a separate state and to protect the language and culture. Harish Rao also said that Kaloji Narayan Rao made invaluable services for the statehood.
Kaloji sacrificed life for Telangana: Gutha
Telangana Council chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, members and ministers today paid rich tributes to noted poet and freedom fighter, Kaloji Narayan Rao.
To mark his birth anniversary, they offered floral tributes to Kaloji Narayan at the Council. They recalled that the poet sacrificed his life for the country and Telangana.
He fought against feudal Razakars and atrocities through his poetry they said. Kaloji Narayan Rao contributed to the cause of the poor, language dialect, and culture, they added.
Ministers present including Rajender, Mahamood Ali, Dayakar Rao, Indrakaran Reddy, Sabitha Indra Reddy, and others. Srinivas Goud participated in the Ravindra Bharathi program to mark the occasion. He recalled the poet services for a separate state and Telangana dialect. Telangana government follows his ideals, he added.
