KCR picks up PV’s daughter for MLC polls

Hyderabad: TRS Supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has picked up former prime minister late PV Narasimha Rao’s daughter, Surabhi Vani Devi for graduate MLC polls for the Hyderabad-Mahabunagar Ranga Reddy segment.

Vani Devi has filed her nomination as the graduate candidate from the TRS to the election returning office here. The TRS party leaders K Keshava Rao, Ministers Srinivas Yadav, Sabitha Indra Reddy and others present.

Before that Vani Devi has offered floral tributes to her father at PV Ghat on the necklace road with Keshava Rao, Srinivas Yadav, and other TRS leaders.

She called on the Chief Minister at Pragati Bhavan and took a B form. KCR has introduced her to the ministers on the occasion. He asked the leaders to coordinate and win the graduate MLC polls and others in the state.

Vani Devi told the media that she will make efforts for meeting KCR government expectations in the education field. Thanking the Chief Minister for the MLC poll candidature from the TRS, she stated that she will strive hard for development.

Keshava Rao has said that Vani Devi is capable of serving the state. As the daughter of PV Narasimha Rao, she has toured the world over and got much knowledge he stated.
Srinivas Yadav said that Vani Devi has to be elected unanimously to serve.

As she runs educational institutions for a long time and honors PV, all other parties should support Vani Devi to win he appealed.
