Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao today winded up his three days official visit to the national capital.
KCR took a return flight from Delhi on Sunday after his successful meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and other union ministers on state development issues.
During his meeting that lasted about 45 minutes, KCR urged Modi to cooperate to complete development works in the state. After giving a wish list to Modi, the Chief Minister has sought him to accord national status to either the Palamur Ranga Reddy lift project or the Kaleshwaram lift project.
Besides appealing to set up six new Airports in the state including one of the international levels in Sidhipet district, KCR urged the Modi dispensation to raise the FRBM limit to obtain more loans towards development and give Rs 24000 cr for the state as per Niti Ayog recommends. He was in Delhi for three days and held key meetings with the union ministers on state issues and development funds and GST arrears.
It may be said that he wrote letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to set up the new six airports in Telangana. KCR has urged the center to take steps for the new, airports as the details were already given to concerned departments. Urging Modi to set up. An International Airport in Sidhipet, KCR invited him to launch a new pharma city on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
He explained about airport sites in – Peddapally in Basanth Nagar, Mamunur in Warangal Urban district, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Adilabad, Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar district in Devarkadra area respectively.
Earlier the Chief Minister met with the union ministers including Amit Shah, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and others. With Amit Shah, KCR spoke at length on the state issues and sought funds relief for flood victims. KCR gave a version of new farm laws being opposed by the farmers, several states including Telangana and others.
It is said that both have shared views on various development programs of the centre, state, and farmer national-level protests. The Delhi visit of KCR gets significant as the TRS suffered a loss in GHMC lolls and Dubbaka by-poll, in which the BJP increased its tally by significant victory.
