KCR meets Shekhawat in Delhi on irrigation projects

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today called on Union Jalshakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Delhi.

The Chief Minister is to meet with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on getting an appointment from PMO according to sources. He is on a three-day visit to the national capital and to meet with other ministers on state issues of development.

During his meeting, KCR apprised Shekhawat of irrigation projects in Telangana and appealed for support and funds in time for the same. The Chief Minister is embarking on the Delhi visit to get Central government help and permissions for various projects, the release of GST arrears, and others.

KCR may meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on getting his appointment according to information. He may visit the land allotted to the TRS party to build its office in Delhi by the Centre.

KCR is most likely to meet with the leaders of the opposition parties in Delhi on-farm laws repealing demand. He may return to Hyderabad on Sunday evening or Monday morning as per the information.
