KCR rule dotted with defections & threats: CPI

Hyderabad: CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy today alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s four years rule was continuing with defections and threats. “The TRS destroyed politics in the new Telangana State”, Chada said, adding that the defected MLAs’ case was pending since the last three years.

In a pressnote, Chada alleged that the Speaker kept the disqualifications petitions pending for the last three years leading to defections without fear and Congress MLC Damodar Reddy’s defection was best example for it. He asked the Chief Minister as to why he was scared to make the 25 defector MLAs to resign from Assembly and face by-elections if his survey that his party would win more than 100 seats.

The CPI leader has alleged that as KCR has no respect for the courts, he was not implementing the High Court verdict of reinstatement of the two expelled Congress MLAs. Threatening 53,000 RTC employees was best example of how KCR scares people, he said. (NSS)
