KCR slams Modi-Rahul-Naidu trio, urges people to back TRS to irrigate segments in Palamur

Hyderabad: Launching a broadside against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for carrying out misinformation campaign that there was no power in Telangana, TRS chief and Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today accused the Congress of roping in TD chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the State elections, who has been coming in the way of the State and projects.

Addressing mammoth public meetings in Alampur and Gadwal town, KCR took potshots at Prime Minister Modi for belittling himself by talking lies on power in the State and the Congress ruthlessly for supporting Naidu to cheat Telangana people again, he charged. Chiding some youth, who shouted and disrupting his speech, KCR said he will take steps to resolve the issues in the segments. He asserted that the ruling party will complete the irrigation projects in old Palamur district to flourish agriculture sector as part of his dream to make golden Telangana. Promising to irrigate 1.20 lakh acres in Alampur and 40,000 acres in Gattu segment, KCR asserted to resolve all the pending issues.

KCR hit out at the previous Congress and TD governments for ignoring the district and turned it a desert which led to persistent migration of people. Though the congress did not seek irrigation share, Bachawat Tribunal in 1974 gave Jurala project to Telangana and the leaders failed to complete it. The officials had to bow to my pressure and released waters to the downstream Jurala even as the rulers destroyed RDS denying irrigation and drinking waters to villages nearby. We grieved at the pathetic conditions of the villagers during the past regimes which deliberately denied waters to the region.

The people should think about 24 hours power to farm sector, Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak, KCR Kits, Kanti Velugu, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima, pensions, mission bhagiratha and lakes revival to boost fishing in villages. On being voted back to power, the TRS Dispensation will increase the pensions double and provide unemployed allowance of Rs 3016 and equal amount to disabled in the State. (NSS)
