Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today visited the famous Ranganatha Swamy Temple at Srirangam in Tamil Nadu state. Along with family members including wife Shobha, Son, and Minister KT Rama Rao, MP Santhosh Kumar, and children the Chief Minister visited the temple. The temple priests and officials gave a cordial welcome to the chief minister.
The Chief Minister’s family offered special prayers at the famous Srirangam Temple of Ranganatha Swamy in Tamil Nadu. The priests have offered KCR and family members a traditional welcome and performed special pujas at the temple. The priests later offered blessings and prasadam to the Chief Minister and his family members.
The Chief Minister later told media persons that he visited the famous temple twice. Earlier I visited the Ranganatha Swamy temple and now we all got a glimpse of the god, KCR said. The Chief Minister said that he is to meet with his Tamil Nadu counterpart MK Stalin. Tomorrow I will meet with Stalin and discuss briefly, he said. KCR is to talk about bilateral issues with Stalin and may seek his support to fight with the Centre on farm issues.
The TRS Government has recently raised a banner of revolt on the Centre for not procuring paddy and rice from the state. Now the Singareni Collieries company workers are protesting against the Centre for proposing to auction four coal mines. The TRS Government is opposing the same and KCR wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop auctioning of the coal mines. The TRS MPs are opposing the Centre on the same issue. It is to be seen how Stalin will respond to KCR’s plea for his support on-farm and coal issues.
