Kisan Congress to hold protests on farmers’ woes

Hyderabad: All India Kisan Congress secretary M. Kodanda Reddy today said they held executive committee meeting of the State Kisan Congress here. He said discussion was held on nine topics like land records and pattadar passbooks.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, Kodanda Reddy said they have decided to hold protests across the State to press for fulfillment of their demands. He alleged that some seven lakh farmers of the State have not yet received money under Rythu Bandhu scheme so far.

Stating that there were 35,000 farmers in Ranga Reddy district alone, he said the farmers were facing problems as the State government had failed to complete the pattadar passbook distribution and land purification programs. He also alleged that the farmers were put to untold suffering due to the faulty policies of the State government.
Another party leader Anvesh Reddy also spoke. (NSS)
