In a terrible incident from Delhi, four students returning from their schools were brutally stabbed with a knife on Saturday. The attack was carried out just outside the school in the eastern part of the national capital.
The 10th-grade students were left critically injured after they were chased down by a group of boys who belonged to a different school. The victims had just walked out of their school, Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, after appearing for their examinations in Mayur Vihar when they were approached by the attackers who ran after them with knives.
Due to the exam season, most of the 10th standard students were present at the crime site and witnessed the incident unfold. To save themselves from the attackers who were running fast, other students said they escaped into a park close to the school. Shortly after, the 4 victims were caught by them and stabbed mercilessly. All the boys lost a lot of blood, as per witnesses.

They were hurriedly taken to the hospital by the other students who were present nearby.
The victims have been identified as students of the Government Boys Senior Secondary School Trilokpuri- Faizan, Ayush, Gautam, and Rehan. Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya was their allotted center for the 10th grade examinations and they were at the school for the same. The perpetrators were students from R.S Bal Vidyalaya, police said, though they haven’t been identified yet.
Parents of several students gathered outside the government school as the mother of one of the victims cried her heart out. The Pandav Nagar police found traces of blood after reaching the crime site and from many areas in the park where students had run for safety.
As per the District Commissioner of Police (DCP), the cops had already received 4 calls from different people reporting the urgent news, seeking help for the attack near the school. However, till the police reached the spot, the 4 boys had already been stabbed. Upon arriving, they were informed that the minors were receiving treatment at the Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital after sustaining serious wounds.
While 3 of the boys, all aged between 15-16 years, were discharged post treatment from the east Delhi hospital, one of them has been shifted to AIIMS, Delhi, where he is getting treated in the trauma centre, the cops said.
Investigation is on to identify the attackers involved in the crime through the help of CCTV camera footage. Post scanning the clips, the police will ascertain the criminals and charge them with concerned sections.
