Kottakota slams Harish, KTR for questioning formation of Maha Kutami of Oppn parties

Hyderabad: TDP national leader Kottakota Dayakar Reddy today came down heavily against TRS ministers Harish Rao and KT Rama Rao stating that they have no right to question “Maha Kootami” of Opposition parties in Telangana State.

Speaking to the media at NTR trust bhavan, Dayakar Reddy reminded that political parties, NGOs and students’ associations participated in Telangana movement. Now again, these forces are coming together to fight against the ruling TRS which failed to implement its election promises. He said the TRS leaders have no moral right to talk on the coming together of Opposition parties as the ruling TRS alone had shifted “Dharna chowk” at Indira Park. “The people are ready to teach a fitting lesson to what he described KCR as “fascist”, Dayakar Reddy said.

KCR was not opening his mouth as to why he dissolved the Assembly, he said adding that the Chief Minister was claiming that he was successful in getting Centre’s nod for zonal system to recruit unemployed youth. Taking a dig at the TRS government, Dayakar Reddy said the State exchequer remained empty due to “wrong” policies of KCR and how can he now fill the vacant posts in the State.

State party official spokesperson N Durgaprasad said the Opposition parties have come together for Maha Kutmai to achieve social Telangana. Why TRS had an election alliance with Congress during the previous elections, he said, adding that Maha Kutami was formed to protect interests of Telangana people and it would defeat TRS in the elections.
