KT Rama Rao Advocates Corporate Decentralization for Hyderabad’s Growth

IT Minister KT Rama Rao recently launched a Teleperformance facility in Madhapur, Hyderabad. During the event, he underlined the necessity of corporate decentralization, not only to tier II towns and cities, but also within Hyderabad itself.

Minister Rama Rao advised big firms to expand their operations beyond Hyderabad’s previously established areas like as Madhapur and Kondapur. He urged that businesses explore expanding their presence in neighborhoods such as Malakpet, Uppal, and other parts of the city. Rather than focusing everything in a few areas, the goal is to create more prospects for employment and economic growth throughout Hyderabad.

He emphasized the difficulties that employees encounter when traveling large distances to their employment during heavy rains. Companies can make it more convenient for their employees and decrease the load of commuting during poor weather conditions by decentralizing activities and establishing hubs in different regions of the city.

Minister Rama Rao praised the efforts of several departments, including the GHMC, police, health, and energy, for their great work during the recent heavy rains in Hyderabad. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to “Keep the City Running” (KCR) in all weather conditions. This obligation applies to enterprises covered by the worldwide service agreement, ensuring that operations and services continue even in adverse weather circumstances.

The occasion also highlighted Teleperformance employees’ passion and support, as they creatively enlarged the Minister’s initials, ‘KTR,’ as ‘Keep Telangana Rocking.’ This gift expresses their gratitude for the government’s efforts and dedication to Telangana’s overall development and growth.
