Hyderabad : Wooing the people of Seemandhra in Kukatpally Assembly constituency ahead of Assembly elections coupled with allaying fears, caretaker minister KT Rama Rao today affirmed his commitment for their complete security and welfare. “I will personally extend all help, address your problems in a phased manner, if empowered in the elections”, KTR said.
Speaking at “Hamara Hyderabad” program at Nizampet attended by a large number of people, who supported the TRS for the elections, KTR revealed that KCR regime abstained from offering Rs 100 crore for building Amaravathi, new capital of Andhra Pradesh during its launch as Prime Minister Narendra Modi had no plan to offer financial succor and offered just soil from the national capital. He also took a jibe at the TDP chief for pumping in fuel and financial assistance for the Congress, a deadly snake, in the upcoming polls. KTR said he differed with Chandrababu Naidu’s opinion to go together as the States’ interests are different.
The TRS regime, under the leadership of K Chandrashekhar Rao as Chief Minister was able to disprove the apprehensions of non-locals, businessmen and traders and providing security by setting up five lakh CC cameras as part of 10 lakh cc cameras plan in the city. Blaming the BJP-led Centre for fuel price hike, KTR appealed to the gathering to fill the Car tank (TRS Symbol) with diesel and let it move speedily and witness rapid growth, welfare and development in future on the TRS winning the poll fray.
KTR also said if the TRS was voted to power in the polls, all other major problems like drainage, water logging and others will be addressed. Metro Rail will be extended from Chandanagar to Lakdi-Ka-pool in the second phase to ease of the traffic woes and will develop and beautify the lakes nearby on the lines of Durgam Cheruvu for green environment as the construction activity was in full swing, he said.
