In the next Assembly election in 2023, TRS working president KT Rama Rao is confident that his party will retain power for the third consecutive term.
TRS Minister KTR says that the party will secure 90 seats comfortably and will fight hard for the remaining seats.
According to the TRS working president, the State elections will take place in December 2023 as scheduled, and K Chandrashekhar Rao will become Telangana’s third successive Chief Minister after the elections in 2023.
He said KCR would create a history worthy of legends like former Tamil Nadu chief minister Karunanidhi and former chief ministers J Jayalalithaa and YSR.
On Friday, KTR told media persons here that neither Congress nor BJP had a significant presence in most constituencies, making it difficult for the opposition to compete with TRS.

He said that even surveys publicized by Congress and BJP agree that TRS enjoys majority approval after eight years of governance and will win the upcoming Assembly elections.
According to him, Congress had lost its sheen under Rahul Gandhi and TRS no longer viewed Congress as a strong force.
Following the announcement by the Congress party that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will hold a Deeksha in the Sircilla constituency, KTR said that he would welcome Rahul Gandhi to the constituency and encourage him to learn about what the TRS government is doing to benefit Telangana.
Announcing that K Chandrashekar Rao does not fear anyone or any party, KTR said TRS has expressed its readiness to contest the early polls, while BJP has not yet responded.
