KTR starts E-Palm Digital Engg Co

Hyderabad: The State Government was according top priority for digital literacy and connectivity with broad band internet services, IT & Industries Minister K T Rama Rao today said.

Launching E-Palm Digital Engineering Centre at Hitech City here, the minister said technology should reach the people and help their development. There was no dearth of skills and expertise among technology employees in the State, he said. The State government has been providing training and skills required for corporate and IT companies to boost their progress and business, he said, adding that the government was offering technical knowhow and imparting training and skills among youth in the State.

Stating that Telangana State emerged as No 1 in the country in IT Sector, KTR said five world-class IT companies were functioning in the city. He said T-Hub second phase works are going on and T Works will start in November this year. Hyderabad is the best city in the country to live and the State government was making efforts to growing population needs in the city as it witnesses rapid urbanization.

There was a need for taking the technology to the people and the government needs cooperation of noted companies to move ahead in that direction, he said. E Palm Chief Executive Officer and President Arkadiy Dobkin, IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and others were present. (NSS)
