Telangana Industries, MA&UD, and IT Minister KT Rama Rao, who led an 18-member delegation to the USA and toured for 12 days to woo investors there, returned here on Wednesday.
During his tour, KTR and his team met with heads of various companies and discussed them investing in Telangana State where all facilities are available in plenty. They held discussions with bosses of Pharma, electrical vehicles, fish processing, and IT companies.
The American investors came forward to invest over Rs 8,000 crore in Telangana State. The New York-based Advent International Company has agreed to invest Rs 1750 crore to extend its services in Hyderabad.

Similarly, another pharma company based in New York came forward to invest in the State. Its CEO Ajay Singh announced that the company would invest Rs 150 crore in the State. The medical devices manufacturing company Pharma Copia also agreed to set up its Rs 1,525 crore ultra-modern laboratory in Genome Valley in Hyderabad.
