Municipal and IT Minister KT Rama Rao will inaugurate a road under bridge at Hi-tech city and participate in other development programs on Monday. The roads are built under a strategic plan to ensure signal-free roads that will overcome the problem of traffic jams.
According to information the minister will open the new RUB and inaugurate some other works completed on April 5. With this traffic problem for people and IT people will come to an end, the officials said. This road was built by spending Rs 69.59 cr stretching 410 meters. A strategic road development plan is getting fructified as the officials are coordinating to complete the identified roads at various locations in the city.
This new road will address the problem of traffic movement as about 5 lakhs to 6 lakhs of people used to go through. This road will pave way for preserving stormwater in a separate water body built on sideways.
The officials spent Rs 1010 cr so far and started 18 projects including several RUBs, ROBs, underpasses, roads, and landscaping with greenery at multiple locations. Similarly, 20 more projects will be completed as planned. For this they are spending about Rs 4741 cr the officials said.
