Hyderabad: Commissioner of Police Hyderabad Anjani Kumar has batted against leaving the pet dogs on the road.
Kumar in a tweet said that many people in the city were leaving their pet dogs on the roads, which was an inhuman act.
He said “Abandoning a pet dog on the street to fend for itself is a most inhuman act. Can you do that to your child? Such an animal gets dependent emotionally and physically on the family.
For God’s sake never abandon them. It also amounts to cruelty to an animal and is punishable under the law”.
