Maharashtra to be the starting point for KCR’s Bharat Rashtra Samithi

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), formerly the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), will reportedly launch its activities in Maharashtra before expanding nationwide, according to party President and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday.

He stated that the party would begin its activities in Maharashtra by establishing the party’s farmers’ wing there.

Rao stated this during his speech at the TRS’s general body meeting, which unanimously passed a resolution to rename the party the BRS.

KCR, as Rao is popularly known, also stated that he would visit all parts of the country while serving as Chief Minister.

“We are not leaving the ground. Nobody should have any doubts,” he told party leaders.

KCR’s remarks came amid speculation in political circles that his son, K.T. Rama Rao, would take over as Chief Minister while he focused on national politics.

The TRS founder advocated for the development of a bright India. “If our country’s resources are used within the country, we can develop better than America. There is still time. We will expand across the country, said KCR, who is targeting the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

The Chief Minister also stated that if good comes to the country as a result of Telangana, it will go down well in the country’s history.

KCR also stated that the Dalit, farmer, and tribal movements would be prioritized as the main agenda. He vowed to eliminate social and political unrest throughout the country. “Telangana has already demonstrated this to the rest of the country. We will take stock of the evolving situation and move forward,” he said.

He urged the country to move forward in the same way that the Telangana movement was carried to victory. He asserted that Telangana ensured the development of all communities. He stated that the state’s rural and urban areas had developed, and the Centre’s awards were proof of this.

He recalled that the TRS was founded 21 years ago. “Within a short time after achieving Telangana state, we moved quickly forward by implementing development programs in all sectors, including agriculture, electricity, irrigation, and drinking water.  The neighboring states are awestruck by the programs in Telangana. All of this is possible because every action is carried out with commitment,” he said.

KCR stated that in the 75 years of independent India, the ruling parties have done nothing for the country other than coming to or leaving power. He claimed that politics is a task for the TRS and a game for other parties.
