Man hacked to death in day light at busy Attapur area

Hyderabad: Gruesome murder took place in broad daylight on the main road in Attapur under Rajendra Nagar limits. The accused killed a person while watching everyone.

A man was hacked to death with an axe at pillar no 143 Attapur area in the presence of policemen who are seen in a video doing nothing to stop the crime. Two men chase the man on a street in Rajendra Nagar and repeatedly strike him until he falls unconscious in a mobile phone video of the shocking incident. After the victim, bleeding profusely, stops moving, one of the attackers raises his arms as if after a victory and walks away.

Eyewitnesses say there were at least three policemen around, but they didn’t do much.

The two policemen had gone to get their sticks, an officer said, responding to criticism of cops playing spectator as the man was being butchered.

In videos that are viral on social media, one of the policemen is seen stopping him, but he retreats soon after. What is more appalling is the fact that a Cyberabad police vehicle passes by the spot where the crowds had gathered, but it doesn’t stop. At the end of one of the videos, the attacker can be seen buttoning up his yellow shirt.

Traffic police caught two persons and two other accused escaped from the scene. The accused didn’t afraid even after seeing the police. One of the accused chopped Ramesh till his death in presence of police. The police detained the accused and were searching for another two accused.

The police said that Ramesh Goud killed one Mahesh Goud at Shamshabad as the latter had an illegal relationship with his wife. Ramesh was arrested in that case and came out on bail. Ramesh attended Upparapally Court in this regard. Mahesh’s father and his relative killed Ramesh when the latter was going back after appearing in the Court.

The people were shocked while seeing the murder in broad daylight. Another incident took place before people forgetting the Erragadda incident.
