Maoist asks people to boycott Telangana Polls

Hyderabad : Calling the people to boycott the ensuing elections, Maoist Telangana State committee has released a letter in the name of its secretary Haribushan. He slammed the political parties’ attitude in his letter.  Alleging that the ruling TRS failed to fulfil the assurances given by it in the last elections, Haribushan said the caretaker Chief Minister dissolved the Assembly nine months before the scheduled time afraid of increasing anti-incumbency. Haribushan criticized all parties, including Maha Kootami and Bahujana Left Front (BLF).

He stated in the letter that the Congress and TDP did nothing to the State though they ruled the State in the past. Finding fault with the CPI and TJS for joining hands with Congress and TDP in the name of alliance, Haribushan alleged that it was nothing but extending support to bourgeois parties to make them get votes. He alleged that the Left parties gave divorce to the ideals of revolutionary movements and in finding solutions to the peoples’ problems and were busy in distribution of positions. He called upon the people to boycott the fake elections and wage movement for the sake democratic Telangana. (NSS)
