McDonald’s Gets A New Name In Russia After Withdrawal

In the latest updates, The replacement to McDonald’s in Russia, “Vkusno&tochka,” resumed the primary group of 15 eateries in Moscow and its rural areas, 90 days after the US fast-food chain finished its business in Russia.

Oleg Paroev, General Director of the organization, on Sunday declared the new brand signifying “Tasty – – and that is all there is to it,” during a service at the eatery in midtown Moscow’s Pushkinskaya Square, the main McDonald’s café in the Soviet Union that opened in 1990.

One more 50 outlets will be resumed on Monday, and almost 200 outlets are supposed to return toward June’s end. McDonald’s previous 850 eateries across Russia are all normal to return toward the finish of summer, Paroev told media.

As indicated by a past arrangement, the rebranded inexpensive food organization will utilize new names on the menu and hold all representatives under comparable terms for something like two years.

This comes after, McDonald’s suspended its business in Russia on March 14. The organization reported its withdrawal from Russia on May 16 and after three days offered the resources for Russian money manager Alexander Govor, a previous McDonald’s licensee.

McDonald’s is leaving Russia over its intrusion of Ukraine, hauling out of a market it’s been a piece of for quite some time. The fast food goliath had recently stopped its activities in Russia under about fourteen days into the ruthless clash being pursued over Ukraine’s future.

McDonald’s needs to sell its whole record of cafés in the country to a Russian purchaser. To plan for that deal, it will begin “de-curving” its cafés — stripping them of its brand name signs, menus and marking.
