Meerut Man Shoots Sister for Refusing to Feed his Dogs

Meerut: In yet another shocking incident, a 25-year-old man in Meerut shot his sister dead because she would not make ‘Roti’s’ for his dogs. He afterward surrendered before the police.

Ashish, a pet lover with many dogs, apparently lost his cool when his sister in her 20s refused to take care of his pets.

The incident occurred in Ganga Nagar in Meerut on Monday where Ashish, a real estate dealer, requested his sister Parul to make the ‘Roti’s’.

Parul apparently refused which angered Ashish, who then got his gun and shot her in the head and in the chest.

Parul died on the spot.

Upon hearing the gunshots, family members came running and discovered Parul lying in a pool of blood.

Ashish called the police and educated them about the incident. He was apprehended and the body was sent for post mortem.

SP Dehat Keshav Kumar said that a 25-year-old man named Ashish who lives in the Meerut’s Bhawanpur area killed his 23-years-old sister Parul. We have come to know that the accused killed her sister after she refused to look after his 18-20 pet dogs over which they had regular arguments.

SP Kumar stated that every day, the accused would ask his sister to make Rotis for his pet dogs. Today, he shot her dead when she denied it.

Circle Officer Sadar, Poonam Sirohi stated that the police were investigating other angles additionally.

In another incident: A prisoner has been apprehended by Sitarganj police in Udham Singh Nagar region for killing another inmate after a fight about a pet dog and its three puppies that went missing in Uttarakhand’s Sitarganj open prison.

The prison authorities were told by Jeetu Ram that Jeevan Singh was lying unconscious with injury marks on his body. An investigation uncovered that Ram himself was responsible for Singh’s death.

Sitarganj police station in-charge, Salahuddin Khan said the two men were serving life terms in the Sitarganj open prison. Khan further said that they were neighbors and both were fond of dogs. Singh’s pet female dog had given birth to 3 puppies. When they went missing all of a sudden, he suspected Ram’s hand in their disappearance and this led to a fight between the two.
