Minister Sithakka’s Village Finally Gets Bus Service

TSRTC officials are set to launch bus services to Jaggannapeta in the district, addressing the absence of transport options to Tribal Welfare Minister Anasuya’s village. The route has been surveyed, and plans are underway to commence bus operations to the tribal village soon.

This development gains significance, especially with the potential implementation of the Congress government’s Mahalakshmi scheme, providing free rides to women on RTC ordinary and express services within Telangana State limits.

Despite advancements like Metro and Bullet train services in the transport sector, many Agency villages lack proper roads, let alone bus services. Residents often navigate streams and uneven terrain to access urban areas. While some villages have kutcha roads, bus services remain non-existent.

Remarkably, Minister Sithakka’s village currently lacks bus services. The absence of proper road facilities to Jaggannapeta and insufficient commuters has deterred the RTC from operating bus services to the village. The villagers, expressing discontent over the government implementing the Mahalakshmi scheme without a corresponding bus service, brought the issue to the media’s attention.

In response, RTC officials conducted a route survey, aiming to address the situation. Warangal-2 depot manager Suresh confirmed that RTC is prepared to launch the Pattipalli-Potlapur bus, connecting the minister’s village. This initiative aligns with efforts to ensure accessible transportation options to even the remotest areas, avoiding any negative perception regarding the lack of services to the minister’s own village.
