Hyderabad: Ministers S Niranjan and V Srinivas Goud and irrigation principle secretary Rajat Kumar and others today made a visit to palamuru Ranga Reddy lift irrigation works at Nagar Kurnool district here.
With MPs, MLAs, and officials the ministers have taken a stick of the works of Palamur- Ranga Reddy lift irrigation at Ellur village in Kollapur Mandal in the district.
The works related to phases 1,2 and 3 are taken up as part of the Palampur- Ranga Reddy lift irrigation project. The project on completion will boost irrigation and agriculture production in a big way. Already about 8 lakhs of lands in previous Palamur district were brought under irrigation by the government.
The minister has taken so look at the photo gallery pertaining to the progress of the Palamur- Ranga Reddy lift irrigation works in the district. They interacted with the officials concerned and sought to speed up the same.
