Minor Boy Mistakingly Explodes Crude Bomb In Lucknow

Lucknow reports a new case of a bomb explosion recently. A 12-year-old boy mistakingly picked up a bomb thinking of it as a ball.

Minor Boy Mistakes Bomb As Ball

As per the reports, the minor boy was coming back from coachig classes when he found the bomb (ball) along with his friends. His father, Ram Khelawan said his son, Sachin found a ball like object wrapped in twine. It was lying in the garbage pile when Sachin picked it up.

He further said that when his son threw the ball, it exploded after it hit the ground. Sachin also has suffered some injuries. But his condition is stable now.

The incident took place on Tuesday evening. Ram also claimed that Sachin picked the bomb after his friends asked him to.

Police Registers Case Under Explosives Substances Act

Somen Barma, the Deputy Comissioner of Police from the Central Zone released a statement in the case. He said that they have registered a case against the unidentified person who placed the bomb in the garbage file. This further led to causing hurt to other people because of someone else’s negligent behaviour. The case has been registered under the Explosive Substances Act.

Burma further said that the police has check the CCTV camera footages around the garbage area to identify the person/people who dumped the crude bombs.

Talking to the residents around they revealed that the garbage gets piled up for a long time as the cleaners don’t clean the area.
