SC&TP established in Jagadgirigutta for rapid garbage disposal
According to recent sources, a new Secondary Collection and Transfer Points (SC&TP) has been created in Jagadgirigutta to relieve pressure on the city’s current transfer stations and speed up rubbish disposal.
Waste collected from houses, highways, and other public sites in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) circles where SC&TP is operational is no longer transported to transfer stations before being recycled at the Jawahar Nagar dump yard. Instead, the trash is dumped in the SC&TP before being transported directly to the dump yard. The same method will be employed at Jagadgirigutta.
The SC&TP supports in resolving issues such as waste transportation dangers in open vehicles, spillages on highways, soil contamination, leachate, and garbage dispersed near transfer stations.
