MP Revanth lashes out at CM KCR

Hyderabad: Congress Party MP A. Revanth Reddy today lashed out at Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao  for ending the custom of fielding the children of the public representatives like MLAs and MPs who have died while being in office. He said that the CM KCR had ended the practices by fielding his party candidate against the son of  former MLA PJR after his untimely death. Referring to the former MLA of Dubbaka assembly constituency Ramalinga Reddy he said that the Chief Minister had not given minister’s post to Ramalinga Reddy despite the fact that he won as MLA for four times.
Referring to the statement of state minister T. Harish Rao that Siddipet and Dubbaka  were like two eyes for him , he asked Harish Rao as to why the Dubbaka constituency was not developed on a par with Siddipet, Gajwel and Sircilla Assembly constituencies of the state.
Speaking to media persons after filing of the nomination papers of the party candidate Cheruku Srinivas Reddy at Dubbaka, Revanth Reddy said that the time had come to teach a befitting lesson to the ruling TRS party by ensuring its defeat in the Dubbaka seat. He alleged that both TRS and the BJP were one and the same and added that the BJP led central government had allotted land to the TRS party in New Delhi . He urged the people of the Dubbaka constituency to vote for their party candidate to ensure its development. (NSS)
