Hyderabad: City based Nehru Zoological Park with its standard working procedures has acquired ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards Certification from ASCB, the U.K for the first time in the country.
HYM International Certifications Pvt Ltd Accredited by ASCB(UK) recently conducted the assessment of ISO 9001:2015 Certifications, with its team Members.
The team conducted the audit in a phased manner. They expressed their satisfaction and happiness in the standards being followed in Nehru Zoological Park particularly in fields of Sanitization, Food Processing, Animal Breeding, Zoo Hospital, Animal Care, Hygiene Maintenance, and Establishment. The functions of the various wings of the park were also observed by the team, which appreciated the efficiency, teamwork, and commitment of all the staff which has raised the standards of Nehru Zoological Park. Transparency at all works, response to any emergency round the clock, and the standards being followed which fulfill the criteria for ISO certifications have inspired the team in conveying all the information and standards along with a strong recommendation for the ISO certification of the Zoo park.
The certificate was presented to the state Minister for Forests A. Indra Karan Reddy by Sivaiah Alapati, the Managing Director of the company. On this occasion, the Minister appreciated the Prl. Chief Conservator of Forests, Director of the zoo park, and Zoo staff for their efforts which have led to the award of the ISO certificate for Quality Management Standards.
