Prior to the formal inauguration, special attention is being paid to the security of the newly constructed Secretariat in Telangana, which has been assigned to the SPF.
After the secretariat is inaugurated, more than 650 SPF personnel will be deployed. Following several high-level review meetings, it was decided to assign responsibility for Secretariat security to the TSSP.
The long-awaited Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat will be inaugurated on April 30. K Chandrashekhar Rao, who will attend the inaugural ceremony, will take his seat inside his chambers at 1.20 p.m. the same day.
More than 350 TSSP cadres will supervise approximately 300 Armed Reserve (CAR) and Law and Order Police Security.
Twenty-two traffic officers have also been deployed to control vehicle movement. Selected police officers have already received training at the Intelligence Training Academy (IITA) in Moinabad. Their services will be available beginning last week in April.
The general public will not be permitted to enter the Secretariat unless prior permission is obtained. They will only be allowed to enter the respective block with prior permission. They will be given passes with a barcode at the entrance for this purpose; they will be unable to access other blocks. The Hyderabad City Police Department will monitor all of this.
Armed security personnel will continue to patrol the central posts surrounding the secretariat. The other two entrance posts are also guarded. Aside from that, security personnel in important locations such as the Chief Minister’s Office and the Home Ministry will be outfitted with modern weapons.
Strict police personnel will be stationed near the stairs and elevators in the six-storey secretariat. The movement will be monitored by 300 CCTV cameras. A special command control center has also been established to monitor the situation. To prevent any kind of fire incident, two fire departments and 34 personnel will be stationed on the secretariat grounds.
