Actor Nithiin is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula, which is slated to hit theaters on December 25. The movie, featuring Sreeleela as the female lead, marks the reunion of Nithiin and Sreeleela after their earlier collaboration.
While Nithiin had previously criticized Sreeleela for not providing enough dates to complete their earlier project Extraordinary Man, the actor has now expressed gratitude for her commitment to Robinhood, calling her a “hit pair” in the film. “I know I said those words, but for this film, she gave her time, and after its release, we became a hit pair,” Nithiin remarked during the promotions.
Robinhood is Nithiin’s second collaboration with director Venky Kudumula after their successful partnership in Bheeshma. Venky teased that the upcoming film promises even more entertainment than Bheeshma, offering a refreshing new dimension to Nithiin’s career. “This film will definitely give a boost to Nithiin’s career,” said Venky.

Sreeleela, who is currently in the limelight for her special song in Pushpa 2, is expected to surprise audiences with her acting prowess in Robinhood. Director Kudumula praised Sreeleela for her performance, stating that while many view her as the “Dancing Queen,” this film would showcase her skills as a talented actress.
Sreeleela recently commented on her Pushpa 2 special song, revealing that she was unaware of initial plans to cast Shraddha Kapoor for the role. She also mentioned that discussions about her remuneration for the song had yet to take place.
With Robinhood and Pushpa 2 under its belt, Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind both films, is confident of ending the year on a high note. Producer Ravi shared, “Our film Robinhood is definitely a good film,” hinting at its potential success.
