No Eid-ul-adha prayers at major Mosques and Eidgahs in Telangana

The Eid prayers would not be performed at the major mosques and eidgahs of the Telangana this year on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Adha or Bakrid, the festival of sacrifice which is celebrating on Saturday.

The State Home Minister Mohammed Mehmood Ali has appeal to the general masses to perform the eid prayers in their homes and nearby mosques in their areas.

In a video message, he asked the people who are going to mosques to perform the prayers to maintain the physical distance as it is inevitable nowadays. The corona spreads due to non maintaining the physical distance.

He announced that the Eid prayers were also not performed earlier in the Eid ul fitr in the Eidgahs and it will be followed on this eid also as a precaution. He made it clear that the spread of corona cases likely to increase in the mass congregation. The decision has taken in view of the health of the public.  People should cooperate in this effect. At the same time, he requested the masses to follow the government policies, Use the sanitizers to clean the hands.

 Minister appeals the public to maintain distance with the butchers at the time of sacrifice and during distributing the red meat.
