Hyderabad: Rachakonda CP Mahesh Bhagawath today made it clear that no rape was committed on the pharmacy student who was allegedly abducted by unknown miscreants near Ghatkesar.

He said that the victim had misled the Police and lodged a false complaint with them. He said the girl had agreed that she had misled the police to prevent her mother from making repeated phone calls.

Speaking to media persons he said that they had interrogated the accused auto rikshaw drivers and found that they were innocent.
