Kanpur: A minor girl was allegedly gang-raped three times within the span of a couple of hours by her boyfriend and his three friends in Chakeri region in Kanpur.
The incident occurred on Saturday but became known when the girl got back to her home and told her ordeal to her parents the following day.
The police have apprehended two accused, Rahul Sonkar and Mithun Sonkar. Two of the accused are absconding.
Police stated that the girl, a resident of Chakeri region, had gotten to know one Sahil through Facebook.
The police revealed that on Saturday, Sahil told his friends Rahul and Mithun to bring his girlfriend on a bike close to Trimurti temple. At the point when they brought the girl, Sahil joined them alongside one V.K. Rajput in a vehicle and offered her a few eatables laced with sedatives.
When the girl lost consciousness, the four took her to a secluded location and took turns to rap her in the vehicle. Afterwards, they took her to a vacant plot and again gang-raped her. “The accused then took her to the roof of a market and gang-raped her there for the third time,” said Cantt. circle official Satyajit Gupta.
He further stated: “An FIR has been filed under the relevant sections of IPC besides the POCSO Act. We have arrested two accused Rahul Sonkar and Mithun Sonkar. Searches are in progress to arrest Sahil and V.K. Rajput.”
In another shocking incident, a minor girl, kidnapped from Kannauj, was taken to Lucknow where she was held captive and gang-raped by three youths. The incident, which occurred on November 18, became known after the girl’s parents filed an FIR at Kannauj’s Talgram police headquarters on Saturday. One of the accused, Akash of Lucknow, has been apprehended, police said.
According to the complaint, Vivek, Devendra of Kannauj and Akash had kidnapped the girl and took her to Lucknow. The police said that they held her captive in a room and gang-raped her. The girl somehow escaped and reached her native place on Friday. A case was filed on Saturday against the three accused.
