Hyderabad: Due to the Corona effect and possible new virus strain spread, the famous Exhibition or Numayish at Nampally in the city was canceled for 2021.
Exhibition Society president and health minister E Rajender disclosed this to media persons here.
The Numayish is scheduled to be held for 45 days beginning from January to February 14. However Corona pandemic and unlock and preparation for vaccination put the exhibition on hold to prevent virus spread he said.
The government has taken a call in this regard and the exhibition is canceled for the new year 2021, Rajender said. It was postponed temporarily for now, and the next date will be disclosed he clarified. The closure or cancellation decision was followed by Corona protocols, the minister said.
There is no second wave of Corona in our state and a new virus strain is being reported elsewhere he said. We are fully prepared to tackle the situation the minister added.
