Officer in Mancherial RDO in ACB net

Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday caught Divisional Administrative officer in Mancherial RDO office Gudem Manohar Rao, when he allegedly demanded and accepted bribe of Rs 50,000 from Appasu Ramanna, private videographer to prepare the bills pertaining to videography coverage taken up by the complainant and others in Mancherial constituency during the Assembly elections 2018 and to get cheques issued to them in the regard. The bribe amount of Rs 50,000 was recovered from him at his instance. The accused officer was arrested and being produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, Karimnagar. (NSS)
