Hyderabad: TPCC disciplinary action committee on Wednesday issued a show-cause notice to party leader and AICC member Nuthi Srikanth Goud for behaving rudely towards senior party leader V. Hanumantha Rao recently.
The committee headed by senior party leader M. Kodanda Reddy has given one week time to Goud to submit his explanation on the issue. In the notice, the chairman of the committee Kodanda Reddy told Goud that the committee would take stern action against him if he failed to respond to the notice. In the notice, the committee chairman stated that the incident involving Goud and VH took place on February 2 during a program organized by the OBC cell of the party to felicitate newly-appointed CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka at the party headquarters.
The notice stated that Goud had created a fence by engineering a dharna along with his supporters at Gandhi Bhavan. It stated that, being an AICC member, Goud should have restrained himself from going berserk in the party headquarters. (NSS)
