Panic grips the city outskirts again with killing spree

In a span of merely one week, two sensational murders were reported in the city outskirts that created a climate of fear among the local people besides highlighting a poor law and order situation on the bordering areas of Hyderabad and Rachakonda commissionarates.

The first incident took place at Salala area under Chandrayangutta Police station limits wherein a 25 years old youngster Abu Bakr Al-amoodi, a redsident of Barkas, was brutally murdered on the intervening night of August 21.

According to prima facie report, the deceased had some longstanding issues with the accused that was said to be the primary reason behind the murder. Later, Chandrayangutta police took the accused Abdul Rahman into custody and confiscated a dagger that was used to commit the crime. While the Chandrayangutta police under Hyderabad City olice Commissionarate was busy in investigating the matter another murder case was reported on August 23 from neighbouring Balapur Police station under Rachakonda Police Commissionarate.

A 24 years old youngster Syed Nisar Ali was brutally murdered at Wadi-e-Saleheen area by four persons. Petty issues are said to have led to this gruesome incident. The police later investigated the matter and arrested four accused persons such as Mohd Asif, Mohd Aijaz Khan, Mohd Saber Quadri and Khaja Kaleemuddin all aged between 22 to 26 years.

This is not the first time when the frequent murder cases was reported from this particular area of the city outskirts. Earlier this year, a 30 years old history sheeter Ilyas Nawab was slain by his rivals on 21 March under Balapur Police Station limits. The incident was said to have been the result of old animosity between the two groups.

Nawab received multiple stabbing injuries over his body and was pronounced dead during emergency interventions at the hospital. He was said to have been running a water plant at Pahadi Shareef area and often expressed a threat to his life by the rivals.

Meanwhile, in order to bring the situation under control the Balapur Police under the supervision of Circle Inspector B.Bhaskar has arrested two notorious rowdy sheeters under PD act and sent them behind the bars. The police invoked Prevention of Detention Act against Mohammed Farhan resident of Jalpally Village for indulging in multiple crimes like trespassing, assault and threatening to opponent parties.

Police invoked the PD act also against Hussain Bin Salah Awalgi alias Mohsin Awalgi for invoplving in several offences that includes a Murder case in Pahadishareef area.
