People Cooperation Need to Break Chain, Violators Face Action: DGP

Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy today said that lockdown timings be followed. He urged people to complete works for essentials on the roads by 1 pm and return homes by 2 pm.

They have to cooperate with the police to break the virus chain and fight Covid -19 he said.

We allow the people going for vaccination for Corona doses, health, hospital staff, print and electronic media, those with e passes and valid identity cards and passes he informed.

Those who come to roads unnecessarily will be dealt with seriously he warned. The lockdown till June 9 is a break the chain and contain virus spread he said. The timings changed for people to get essential commodities and others.

The police boss said that they will take serious action against companies and traders selling spurious seeds.  As per instructions by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao the police will file cases against illegal seed business.

Mahender Reddy said that most of the public cooperate with the police to implement the lockdown.

However, only a few people and some youths coming out violating norms to face action.
CPs Anjan Kumar, Sajjanar, and Mahesh Bhagvat respectively inspected the traffic movement at their jurisdictions.

They appealed to people on the roads to follow Corona protocols and lockdown timings. Else face action they warned.

The Government gave Timings till 1 pm to get essential commodities and must be back in one hour. The people on roads after that time will face action, the top cops warned.
