Telangana Municipal and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao today stated that HMDA plays a key role in the development of the city and seven districts in its purview.
He visited the local HMDA office at Ameerpet here and held a review meeting with officials. Municipal secretary Arvind Kumar and other officials were present.
Speaking on the occasion the minister instructed the officials to work out more plans for rapid development of the city and districts.
KT Rama Rao directed that new plans should be prepared to address future demands and growing aspirations of the people, he said.

The HMDA officials should coordinate with others to ensure speedy and rapid growth in the city and seven districts, he said.
The Minister hoped that the officials will come up with better plans to develop more facilities and infrastructure in the city and districts in HMDA purview.
