Hyderabad: The Police have foiled the Chalo Mallaram program of T. Congress and arrested its several leaders at different places.
The principal opposition party has called Chalo Mallaram program against the murder of the Dalit youth, however, police have taken its several leaders in different areas as it claimed that the necessary permission has not taken earlier for the protest.
Telangana Congress president Uttam Kumar Reddy has taken into custody at Jangoan by the police and shifted him to Ghanpur police station. Likewise, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramaraka was picked up by police and shifted him Raghunandan Police stn.
The other leaders of the party were arrested and shifted to other police stations. Uttam Kumar Reddy while condemning the arresting alleged that the TRS which came to the power with the votes of the Dalits is neglecting them. He claimed that no SC minister was inducted in the union of ministers.
He asserted that the Congress party supports the SC and tribals of the state. It may be recalled that a Dalit youth Raju was murdered in Mallaram in Malhar Mandal of Bhupalpally Dist.
