As per the latest reports, police resorted to lathi-charge on Samantha Ruth Prabhu fans on Wednesday in Nalgonda
On Wednesday, police used lathi-charge to disperse crowds assembled at a function attended by popular film actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Nalgonda.
The famous film actress arrived in Nalgonda to inaugurate a shopping mall on Hyderabad Road on Wednesday.
A huge number of young men and women came to the shopping mall to catch a glimpse of the actress. There was some jostling, and the police used force to clear the crowd, injuring a few young people. People alleged that some police officers stationed at the mall overreacted and began thrashing people who were standing at the far end of the mall as well.
Pogula Raju, a youth who was hurt in the police lathi-charge, said he was a Nalgonda municipality worker who had come to see the film actress. He claimed he was lathi-charged indiscriminately by a police officer, resulting in an injury to his hand.

The actress was recently invited to the inauguration of a shopping mall in Nalgonda, Telangana, as the chief guest. As Samantha waved to them, a swarm of fans surrounded her car and cheered for her. She was overwhelmed by the reception as she approached the stage and bowed down to them in appreciation. She also expressed gratitude for their warm welcome.
For the inauguration, she wore a bright pink saree and looked stunning. She bowed down to her fans and thanked them for coming to see her.

Samantha to make her Bollywood debut this year
Samantha has charmed Hindi audiences with her role of Raji in ‘The Family Man 2’. Since then, the actor has received multiple offers for Bollywood roles and it appears that she will star in a film directed by Taapsee Pannu in the near future.
