Political Leaders Cast Votes as Telangana Assembly Elections Kick Off

As the Telangana assembly elections unfold, political heavyweights made their way to polling stations to exercise their democratic rights.

All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeem (AIMIM) President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi set an example by casting his vote at Shastripuram at 9 am. After completing his civic duty, Owaisi addressed the media, emphasizing the importance of every citizen participating in the electoral process to fortify the democratic system.

He urged families to vote, highlighting the role it plays in preserving the cultural fabric and propelling Telangana towards development.

Meanwhile, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Kavitha Kalvakuntla exercised her franchise at DAV Public School in Banjara Hills. In a bid to energize urban voters, she called upon them to actively engage in the democratic process and cast their votes.

The voting process commenced at 7 am across various constituencies in the State, accompanied by stringent security measures to ensure a smooth and secure electoral exercise. As the day progresses, the focus remains on encouraging citizens to participate in shaping the future of Telangana through their votes
