Prabhas Unhappy with The Raja Saab Output, Reshoots Likely as Film Faces Delays

The highly anticipated Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab continues to make headlines, but for all the wrong reasons. Directed by Maruthi, the horror-comedy has been in the making for years, with shooting yet to be completed. Despite fans eagerly awaiting updates, the film’s progress has been hindered by several delays and production issues, leading to growing concerns among audiences and industry insiders alike.

Sources close to the project have revealed that Prabhas himself is reportedly unhappy with the current output of the film. The actor, who has already seen a portion of the film, expressed his dissatisfaction with the result and has apparently requested reshoots for certain scenes. “The actor was very upset with the output and actually wanted to reshoot some scenes,” said the source, adding that the situation has created tension between Prabhas and director Maruthi.

The production of The Raja Saab is being backed by People Media Factory, a studio that is said to be facing significant financial challenges. The production house has invested heavily in the film, and with no clear end in sight, the stakes are high for the company. Despite these financial pressures, the film is unlikely to be shelved, as a significant amount of money has already been spent.

In addition to Prabhas, The Raja Saab features Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the villain, while Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar are cast as the female leads. While the star cast is promising, the mounting delays are causing frustration among the team and fans alike.

One of the film’s key contributors, music director S Thaman, also weighed in on the situation. He recently shared that he would need to provide fresh music for the film, signaling further delays in the post-production process. With numerous tasks still pending, it seems unlikely that the film will be ready for release in the coming months.

While The Raja Saab faces ongoing production challenges, Prabhas has already signed a new project titled Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The actor is expected to begin shooting for Spirit in August, offering hope for fans looking forward to his upcoming work. As for The Raja Saab, it remains to be seen when the film will finally be completed and released, leaving fans in suspense.

The delays and complications surrounding The Raja Saab only add to the mounting pressure on both Prabhas and the film’s production team. Fans are hoping that the issues are resolved soon, and the film eventually sees the light of day, albeit after overcoming numerous hurdles.
