Hyderabad : Leaders of Kula Nirmoolana Porata Samithi and other civil liberties organizations are organizing a meeting at Miryalguda on October 21 in memory of Pranay, who became a victim of caste feud, to condemn his killing, and to fight for protection to inter-caste marriages.
Speaking to the media at NSS here today, Bandari Lakshmiah and G Nagarjuna Rao of KNPS, J B Raju of Dalitha Sena, Gaddam Lkshman of CLC, Chikkudu Prabhakar of TDF and others have appealed to the people in general, the dalit bahujans, democratic lovers, intellectuals in particular to participate in the meeting and condemn the killing of Pranay. They also urged the people to support the demand for a Law to protect inter-caste married people, and setting up of fast track courts to dispose cases under SC, ST Act and punishing the culprits.
